Friday May 26, 2023 – The final order for the T6 application (formerly SOT-77620-16, now LTB-T-0808275-22) was issued today, less than an hour before Member Neumann’s authority to write it ended. The merits hearing for this maintenance application was eight hearing days (full days) long, over two years. The LTB has ordered that the Landlord must pay the Tenant a total of $14,172.64 in combined rent abatement and reimbursement for out of pocket expenses. Collecting on that debt might be a problem, but I’ll post details of the steps I take.

(Update: August 26, 2023: The soonest I can expect to collect a penny from this judgement will be in December of 2023, SEVEN years after it was filed.)
(Update: September 27, 2023 – At this point, John has been served with a Notice of Examination Hearing for October 4, 2023, a Writ of Sale and Seizure of Land and two Notices of Garnishment (which were also served on Richard Pollington and Christina Stamper). John and his crew have continued their practice of ignoring court orders; they simply ignored the paperwork.)
