Chapter 065 – October 11, 2019 – October 26, 2019

Friday October 11, 2019 – We were served with an N5 (Doc 651) by John (or one of his agents) sliding it under the front door. There were some differences between the document served (Doc 651) and the document filed with the LTB (Doc 374), along with the Certificate of Service (which is supposed to be filed with the LTB within five days of serving the document. Kazubek took, at least, 15 days. Exactly how many is uncertain, since the copy Kazubek filed with the LTB isn’t dated, although it bears a stamp from the LTB dated 20 November 2019, the day it was filed). This N5 simply reiterates the contents of the previous N5 (Doc 323), with a few minor changes. It appears Kazubek also altered the N5 after he served it, and before he filed it with the LTB. A little bit of casual forgery (which is what is going on here) doesn’t seem to bother Kazubek. I’ll be pointing out other instances of this kind of behavior.

Wednesday October 16, 2019 – For most of the evening (18:00 to about 20:00) there was loud banging and what sounded like a circular saw noise coming from the Pollingtons’ unit. There was also considerable screaming back and forth between Christina Stamper, George Pollington (Christina was always screaming at George but this was a level higher than before) and interspersed with all of it was the occasional sound of a car horn, coming from the Stamper’s vehicle parked in the driveway). As I left the building at 21:30 to buy some things from the local store, one of Jeremy Stamper’s friends (and one of the loudest and most obnoxious individuals I’ve ever met; he makes John look like a choir boy) called me a fag. I ignored it.

Since there was an LTB hearing the next day. I more or less expected the circus.

Thursday October 17, 2019 – This was a hearing for our T6 applications, and the three T2 applications (even though Member Henry may or may not have been seized of the T2 applications. It appears he never was, despite what he said in the hearing.) John did not appear, nor did his representative, so Marie and I gave our evidence since the Member was not willing to give a summary judgement. At this time, Kazubek HAD been retained by John, it appears as though he just missed a hearing notice. Or possibly he was disorganized enough to miss a hearing entirely. I don’t know; either is possible. Kazubek is an borderline incompetent, amoral, mercenary grifter, in my opinion.

As a result of some of the evidence (I’d mentioned that John had referred to him as “the bald nigger”, which John had) Member Henry recused himself from the case. More than a year later. That started the T6 proceedings from scratch.

There will be an extensive analysis of the events surrounding Member Henry’s decision to recuse himself posted to this blog. It was (I maintain) an act of moral cowardice that in a civilized society should have disqualified the member from acting as an adjudicator. But this is Ontario, and a Member of the LTB can be a moral coward if he wants, apparently.

Sunday October 20, 2019 – I came home about 8 pm. I encountered Richard Pollington Jr at back stairs to unit. He came from around back as I came down driveway and blocked the path between the garage and the building, holding the meat cleaver that was usually left by the BBQ next to the Pollington’s side door. When I stopped he walked forward, called me a “fucking rat” and raised the cleaver. I grabbed it by the blade and levered it out of his hand. He backed up, turned and went inside. No video (except for Pollington’s security camera which isn’t available to me). I tossed it beside the porch stairs and left it there.

I was wearing concealed body armor and reinforced gloves (which allowed me to tightly grip the edge without injury. Those gloves have been a nasty surprise for more than one freelance socialist (ie mugger) over the past three decades. The palms are chain mail, very fine, with small protrusions from each link that act like tiny pliers when I close my hand. If I grab a blade wearing those gloves, it’s mine. If I grab bare flesh wearing those gloves it will remove the skin to a depth of about 1/8″. Just enough to hurt like hell. They look like ordinary black leather gloves, unless you look closely at the palms.) A meat cleaver is just about my last choice for personal combat; it has one edge, is unbalanced and heavy, cannot be thrown with accuracy (and never mind what you see in the movies, it can’t be done in real life during personal combat) and is a bit slow (due to its weight). It has no point and no ability to inflict disabling injury without clear and prior warning to the intended victim.

Richard Jr looked very frightened immediately after I took his weapon away from him. I don’t blame him. I don’t believe he was even aware of the armor I was wearing. I caught an odor of alcohol; he may have been drunk (which would not be unusual at all for Richard Jr).

Monday October 21, 2019 – There was an appearance for Pollington’s private complaint. My lawyer handled it through a representative (a paralegal) without showing up. It was remanded.

Saturday October 26, 2019 – There was the usual construction noises, banging, screaming and car alarm/horn sounding in the driveway until midnight.
